Best Practice Settings for my System
« on: June 27, 2016, 05:10:36 am »
I have a fast computer, with 16 gig of RAM. I work with files of all sizes, and some are very large. What would be the best settings for this situation? I confess I am somewhat confused by the instructions. These file transfers would be taking place between separate hard drives and external hard drives, rarely would I be moving something from folder to folder on the same drive.

Thank you for any help offered.

There are no specific guidelines on the fine-tuning of settings - it would be hard to do them with so many possible combinations of user hardware.
But I believe the defaults to be close to optimal for most users.
