General support / Turn Drag and Drop off?
« Last post by DoctorJellybean on January 24, 2017, 06:24:32 pm »
Is there a way to disable all copying\moving actions EXCEPT when right-clicking and selecting the (CH) Copy/Move to to options from the Context Menu? The reason I'm asking is that when dragging and dropping, there is a noticeable delay of a second or so before the action is performed.

I have made some changes and potential fixes in 1.45beta1 that might help with logging thread eating too much of the cpu.
I encourage you to check that version (note that this is still beta).

Thanks for reporting the problem.
I have filed it under https://dev.copyhandler.com/browse/CH-330 (and fixed it already).

The fix will be available in CH 1.45.

General support / Context Menu options not available in Directory Opus

I'm using Windows 10 x64, and Directory Opus as my file manager. Unfortunately it seems that the Copy Handler 1.44 context menu options are not available in DO. They are available in Windows 10 File Explorer. I'm attaching screenshots of both.

Can you confirm that after re-launching CH the CPU usage was back to normal?

I also noticed that the new malwarebytes identifies parts of CH as PUP.Optional.Unizeto. What is strange, it only reports this if placed inside zip file. When CH is installed, there are no issues detected, even though both zip and installed version have the same binaries inside.
I have just mailed Malwarebytes about that - we'll see if they can help with that.
